Overview:

L’officiel is a 2021 fall issue that presents comfort fashion, streetwear, and fresh 2021 collections. The publication has 15 pages — emphasizing the latest fashion news from 2021, fashion editorials, an informational and exciting interview, and a throwback to 90s styles.

Style Design:

L’Officiel embraces a combination of styles – streetwear, fresh collections from 2021 with a blend of contemporary aesthetics that blends with fashion-forward trends, alongside the latest seasonal offers from fall 2021. The magazine also uses soft pastel elements like light pink and light beige with a hint of light shades of gray. The colors create a smooth and minimalistic background, allowing the detailed fashion pieces to stand out more. 

Visual Elements:

Implementing 90s and Y2K styles introduces a nostalgic element to the magazine. The visuals include throwback fashion imagery such as bright old pastel outfits, baggy silhouettes, crop tops, bling, and subdued tones of the Y2K color scheme. In terms of layout, the magazine features engaging content, such as interviews and fashion news, to draw in readers. 

Target Audience:

The intended audience is fashion enthusiasts, Gen z’s, and younger millennials who appreciate a blend of modernized Y2K and throwback 90s streetwear styles.

Impact:

The project was aimed at celebrating the creativity of throwback fashion.
