Im Shahara, an SF-based fashion journalist and marketer who creates engaging content, increasing brand awareness each step of the way.

Originally from Hawaii, I have always had a passion for exploring new places and immersing myself in diverse cultures. Currently, I am interning remotely with a skincare podcast company based in New York City while living in San Francisco. 

 

I recently graduated with a BFA in Journalism and have sharpened my expertise in various areas of the journalism and digital marketing sector. As a seasoned professional, I have used comprehensive marketing strategies and innovation to reshape customer experiences across diverse industries. My experience has taught me the importance of effectively wielding influence and fostering cross-functional collaboration and agreement in even the most challenging environments.

Being a visual creative, I have worked in several industries to enhance brand visibility in the digital realm. My passion for creativity has led me to explore new ways to attract and engage audiences, and I always strive to push the boundaries of what is possible. To further my experience, I plan to freelance as a journalist or marketer and possibly get the opportunity to work full-time for companies based in California, continuing to grow my skills and knowledge in the field.
