San Francisco

Overview:

Inspired by Ib Kamara's FW23 “Lunar Delivery” Collection – “Utopia in Dystopia” is a high-energy fashion video set against the urban and rich backdrop of Golden Gate Park located in San Francisco. This project captures the dynamic interplay between Off White’s tech-forward and modern urban streetwear, creating a visually striking narrative that appeals to young, fashion-forward audiences.

Styling Theme:

The styling fuses contemporary street elements with post-apocalyptic fashion. Each outfit is a mix of tailored coats, monochrome cargo pants t-shirts, and long sleeves, accessorized with harnesses, belts, and gear along with avant-garde footwear. The color palette is also monochromatic with splashes of white to highlight the fusion of past and present.

Visual Elements:

Key outfits include designed pieces ranging from reimagined post-apocalyptic shawl scarves to oversized coats. Accessories play a significant role, with a focus on futuristic-like silver sunglasses and black harnesses styled to wrap the model’s upper body. Makeup is minimal, featuring the naturalistic and dystopian setting, while the hairstyle is a clean-cut fade to somewhat present a military-like influence.

Target Audience:

The intended audience is fashion enthusiasts, Gen z’s, and younger millennials who appreciate a blend of post-apocalyptic and modern streetwear styles.
